From a young age, I was given the nickname “Salt Otter” – a water creature always close to the sea. My love for the ocean and saltwater shaped my identity, and over time the name became a character that I carried with me everywhere.
As I grew older, I started customizing my dive tanks with the Salt Otter name and character. It immediately caught people’s attention – everyone wanted to know where it came from. My answer was simple: “I love the sea, I’m a water creature.”
That’s how the Salt Otter story began. Later, I started printing T‑shirts and pants with the otter design and name. It quickly became popular, and I realized people truly connected with the character. That inspired me to share Salt Otter designs on others’ clothing too – and the interest just kept growing.
A few years ago, I met my wife, and together we created the Salita Otter – the female version of Salt Otter. She shares the same love for the character, and together we decided to bring the otters to life on clothing.
Today, Salt Otter and Salita live on apparel that fits perfectly with fishing, mountain biking, surfing – and really anyone who loves unique, ocean‑inspired style. We believe Salt Otter is not just a name, but a character that celebrates water, adventure, and family‑friendly energy.

How Salt Otter Was Born
